Injured Benjamin Sesko to Sit Out Slovenia Matches but Manchester United Hopeful of Swift Comeback

Forward Benjamin Sesko will be absent from Slovenia's forthcoming fixtures against Sweden and Kosovo due to a knee problem suffered during the recent game against Tottenham. Nonetheless, the club remains hopeful that he could be back soon enough to face Everton following the international break.

Knock Particulars and Timeline

The forward had to come off in the 87th minute of Saturday's 2-2 stalemate with Tottenham after being introduced on 58 minutes replacing Noussair Mazraoui. Coach Ruben Amorim voiced worry after the game, resulting in the player's withdrawal from the Slovenian national team.

Manchester United will conduct further tests at their Carrington facility in the coming days, but initial assessments suggest a potential return ahead of the Everton on November 24th.

Additional Team Updates

Maguire and Casemiro also were forced off the pitch during the Tottenham match. While Maguire's condition is yet to be determined, it is understood that Casemiro is available and has reported for national team commitments with Brazil.

Martínez, who has been sidelined since suffering a knee issue in February, will travel to the Argentine squad at their training base in Europe. But, the defender will not feature in Friday's friendly against Angola at Luanda. A staff member of United's medical staff will support the player, who has lately returned to training with the first-team group.
